Cognac sign
Something that isn't advertised heavily, or even at all, in Australia is cognac. I found this sign in CDG Paris and it seemed all a bit surreal to me. I knew cognac existed but never thought it would be advertised so much. This was right next to one of the main security screening stations and I got yelled at a lot for taking this photo.

God dammit
Try again next year heat :(
well done mavs
I watched the game from a crowded boston pizza in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Was a bit weird at 8am to see so many people in a bar drinking, but good atmosphere. I'm pretty sure amercia is full of LBJ hate as I think the entire bar cheered at the mavs, and booed the heat. Good fun anyways

Bus Rest Stop
Not an airport but still waiting around a rest stop about 100km south of HCMC, north of Vinh Long. This place is massive and serves about 50 buses twice daily on the route between HCMC and Ca Mau. The amazing part is it is owned and run by the bus company that stops there. So basically they have 100% of the profits and constant business flowing in. Even more amazing is there are about another 15 companies of various sizes running the same route that have buses stop at other places similar to this. It boggles my mind the amount of people moving around on buses each day in the area. Would rival a lot of medium sized airports.
They are everywhere but this is the biggest I have visited

Quick snap
On the way to my favorite Burger King in the world. Singapore's Changi Terminal . The whoppers are always fresh tasty and delicious, made even more so because I've usually just gotten off a plane ride from somewhere. Even when my plane arrives/departs from T1 I will still make the journey to T3 just to eat here. Not to say T1 is bad, its just T3 has always been so so good.
Unfortunately they let me down the other morning, it was 6am so they were only serving the breakfast menu. I'm not a fan of fast-food breakfasts unless its pancakes, but the "crosssauntwich" or whatever was horrible, old and just made me feel shit. Serves me right for getting such an early morning connection.
On the way home I will have an evening connection, thank god.
