Here it comes

Fitzroy Crossing, Australia
Waiting for the first rains of the wet season to come over the airport. It rained for about 10 hours straight when it came through, heavy rain as well.

Funny Clouds

Funny looking cloud feature at 30k ft. Been a bit lazy recently on holidays again, hibernating a bit due to it being winter and not having anything to do during the week. Catching up on a lot of TV at least!

Cognac sign

Something that isn't advertised heavily, or even at all, in Australia is cognac. I found this sign in CDG Paris and it seemed all a bit surreal to me. I knew cognac existed but never thought it would be advertised so much. This was right next to one of the main security screening stations and I got yelled at a lot for taking this photo.

A bit different

In my favorite airport of all time I found some cool looking urinals. I don't know what makes them so cool I guess just different from the norm and actually being really really clean.

Down in the delta

This one comes from a few years ago. Deep down in the delta of Vietnam, taken approx 5am and the temp was probably already 28+ and about 80% humidity. Just glorious!

Crossing the river

Waiting for the boat to come back to cross the river after lunch with my new aunty. It's pretty relaxing in the south.

God dammit

Try again next year heat :(
well done mavs
I watched the game from a crowded boston pizza in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Was a bit weird at 8am to see so many people in a bar drinking, but good atmosphere. I'm pretty sure amercia is full of LBJ hate as I think the entire bar cheered at the mavs, and booed the heat. Good fun anyways

Bus Rest Stop

Not an airport but still waiting around a rest stop about 100km south of HCMC, north of Vinh Long. This place is massive and serves about 50 buses twice daily on the route between HCMC and Ca Mau. The amazing part is it is owned and run by the bus company that stops there. So basically they have 100% of the profits and constant business flowing in. Even more amazing is there are about another 15 companies of various sizes running the same route that have buses stop at other places similar to this. It boggles my mind the amount of people moving around on buses each day in the area. Would rival a lot of medium sized airports.

Taken @ 3am, Near Vinh Long, Vietnam

They are everywhere but this is the biggest I have visited

Wet Season?

It is supposedly the wet season here, but I was greeted with a nice warm clear day upon arrival. It was soon quashed later that evening by a slight downpour, but over the last few days hasn't actually rained that much. God I love the coffee and ultra-fast 3G
